The product arrived ahead of schedule in very good condition, after reading the instructions as mentioned in previous reviews I was able to install in a very short time around 30-45 minutes. The product met all expections and I recommend it to anyone looking for a tempory gate, I am using mind to restrict my 70lb dogs from entering the front room and it is holding up well. The product is sturdy and looks good as well we chose the natural finish and are very pleased with it.

Well-designed solid product - As long as you follow the directions and evenly tweak the tension of the four adjustable screws so that the top and bottom lock mechanisms work properly, it's a pleasure to use. Just lift and swing open the door from either direction. And the bonus doesn't end there...the door closes itself! You should also try using the four tension screws without the cups, screws and double face tape that's included in the accessory package. I found it worked fine without these accessories, which made the installation even more of a breeze.

I bought this gate after looking at several and reading many reviews. Desided to buy this one because of the reviews. They didnt let me down. This gate is easy to install, only took about 5 mins. I didnt use the shallow plastic cups that keep it from sliding, there was no need. The only problem I had and it wasnt a big problem was getting the latch to line up. You screw in and out on the adjustments to torq and bend the wood to line up the latch. After a few minutes it all came in to place and operated beautifully. It opens both ways and auto closes if you dont push it all the way open. Otherwise it will stay open. The wood is beautiful and looks a whole lot better than some of the ones ive looked at.
